From Tramore, Co. Waterford, Fr Tom spent some 30 years in Kenya. As well as doing educational and pastoral ministry, he managed a mother & child health-promotion project, was involved in training ‘barefoot doctors’ and supported traditional birth attendants.
In Ireland, he was part of SPIRASI’s team, a member of Kimmage Manor parish’s ministry team and served in Ardbraccan.
Returning to Rockwell College in 2019, the Spiritan school in Co. Tipperary where he completed his own secondary schooling over 50 years earlier, he is one of its 3-person school chaplaincy team today.
