Fr. Samson Mann C.S.Sp. now divides his time evenly between hospital chaplaincy and work with migrants.
As chaplain in St. Mary’s Hospital in Dublin 8 and the nearby 150-bed Phoenix Park Community Nursing Unit (PPCNU), he celebrates Mass in different wards, and provides pastoral care including end-of-life care for the resident patients, and, as required, pastoral care for patients’ families and for staff. He continues to serve with Spirasi in its work with survivors of torture who have sought refuge in Ireland, offering service-users pastoral care and support in a holistic approach.
