A St. Michael’s College group attended the 2019 Global Citizenship Education network in Duquesne. Their invitation had followed on from both the Spiritan Global Education Showcase event and the meeting of the Spiritan Global Citizenship Teachers’ Network in 2018. The school’s presentation focused on the integration of sustainability issues into the programme of an Irish secondary school.
All concerned had a very positive experience. The warm welcome and the kindness of the university and its Spiritan community will be a lasting memory. Duquesne is due to be represented at the 2020 Spiritan Education Showcase event being hosted by Willow Park Senior School on 30th April next.
