In 2019 he became Superior of the Spiritan Province of Taiwan / Vietnam / India.

Fr. Seán O’Leary C.S.Sp. who first went on mission to Taiwan over 20 years ago, sends a message on the occasion of Taiwan’s National Day, 10th October 2020.

From Cork city, Fr. Seán, who had served in Kenya for part of his time as seminarian, was ordained in 1997 and spent the next decade in Taiwan.

Returning home, he was a member of the leadership team of the Irish Province for 4 years and served in Deansrath parish in west Dublin from 2012 to 2014 before returning to Taiwan.

In 2019 he became Superior of the Spiritan Province of Taiwan / Vietnam / India.
