The Spiritan Province is deeply sorry for the harm caused by Mr Peter Kelly while he was a teacher at Willow Park School.
Our thoughts are with those who were abused as children by Mr Kelly, and with their loved ones. We hope that the court’s verdict and the sentence passed today bring them some measure of validation and justice. The Spiritans offer them the same sincere apology that we extend to all who suffered abuse in our schools.
We have begun a Restorative Justice process for victims and survivors, and we encourage anyone affected to come forward.
