Six Irish Spiritans attend February / March 2020 meetings in Rome
The Congregation has just completed its two-week meeting in Rome for confrères who had been appointed to leadership roles during the last two years. Nineteen confrères from across the world were joined by members of the General Council and Generalate Team in Rome

In national lockdown progressively since March, we are awaiting official news from the authorities of São Paulo State, where most Irish Spiritan confrères are based, as Brazil faces the expected peak of the virus from now ’til early June. The daily death toll now exceeds 1,000 even as official numbers don’t tell the reality on the ground and an almost collapsed health system directly excludes the poor.

Meeting of the leaders of Spiritan Development Offices Kimmage Manor, 30th – 31st January 2020
The first-ever international meeting of the leaders of Spiritan Development Offices (SDOs) in Belgium, Ireland, Portugal and the USA was hosted by the Irish Province in Kimmage.
