Spiritan schools mark Founder’s Feast Day, 2nd October 2020
Some 5,000 students of Spiritan schools in Ireland, and their teachers, answered the virtual call to prayer on Friday 2nd October, Feast Day of the Spiritan founder, Claude Poullart des Places.

Fr. Seán O’Shaughnessy C.S.Sp. on his 90th Birthday
Born in 1930 in Kinsale, Seán attended Rockwell College, the Spiritan school in Co. Tipperary. A little after his 17th birthday, he began his studies for the priesthood in the Spiritan novitiate which at the time was located in Kilshane in Co. Tipperary. Ordained 9 years later, in 1956, he served for more than two decades in Kenya where he was headmaster of Muthetheni Girls’...

September 2019 visit by St. Michael’s College to Duquesne University
A St. Michael’s College group attended the 2019 Global Citizenship Education network in Duquesne. Their invitation had followed on from both the Spiritan Global Education Showcase event and the meeting of the Spiritan Global Citizenship Teachers’ Network in 2018.
